• Outdoor and studio glamour photography with models: theory, shooting and photo retouch (weekend).
• Shoot for a whole weekend with Giuseppe Circhetta and his team and learn how to approach to glamour & editorial shootings (production & postproduction).

Shooting outside is such a great experience for both the models and the photographer. Learn how to modify available light in order to get the best out of your shots with flash and light modifiers (both outside and in the studio). If you know proper technique, you can then focus on the model and you don’t waste precious frames setting up your camera. Understand the mood you’re trying to achieve, use the light as the creative means to express your idea, talk to model and let her know what you need, stir her up with your effective communication and then shoot, shoot, shoot! And after that, perfect your shots through a realistic and precise photo retouch process.

September 14-15 Workshop Information
Location: Castiglione della Pescaia - Tuscany.
Daily Schedule:
Day 1
10.00-10.30: Welcome coffee
10.30-12.30: Theory of flash photography with practical exercises for participants
12.30-14:00: lunch break
14:00-14.30: Learn the approach to managing a glamour shooting and dealing with a model
14.30-15:00: look at your teacher shooting and learn about “soft skills”
15:00-19:00: one-to-one shooting with models (each photographer will be in front of the model alone) with three different sets (available light, studio light, mixed light).
19:00-19.30: debriefing
OPTIONAL: portfolio review in the evening, after dinner
Day 2:
10:00-10.30: Welcome coffee
10.30-12.30: discussion and selection of participants’ shots
14:00-17.30: Postproduction on participants’ shots. Use Adobe Camera RAW and develop your images according to your creative vision. Retouching in Photoshop with focus on skin correction. Sharpening your images. Introduction to converting fashion photos to Black and White.
Day 3 (optional): for a selected group of photographers, we’ll work together for a third day of shooting. We’ll put together a concept that we plan together and shoot on location to realize our goal. There are two ways to sign up for this workshop:

EARLY SIGNUP BONUS
Giuseppe has graciously offered to bring the first four people who sign up for this workshop to Fashion Week in Milan, September 18 - 24, 2013. There is no extra cost for this add-on. The bonus includes an entrance pass for at least two shows and some of the events during the weekend. Note that entrance to Fashion Week is only through invitation and not open to the general public. Details will be worked out directly with Giuseppe.
