The conference will include a mix of lectures, workshops, and break out sessions ranging from art to technology to craft. Speakers include Bruce Barnbaum, Uwe Steinmuller, Marc Muench, Ken Rockwell, and many more.
This premium photography event is being organized in conjunction with RockyNook, c't Digital Photography and seen.by International Fine Art.
Gerhard Rossbach, conference chair and publisher of Rocky Nook, has this to say about the event,
"After a decade of major advances in technology, I believe there is a need to shift the focus back to the artistic aspects of image creation, to the essence of seeing and personal expression, and to the fundamental precepts of photography as a craft.
I am proud to announce a premium two-day event to be held in picturesque Santa Barbara, California, on August 24th & 25th, 2012, aimed at presenting a balanced view of the wide world of contemporary photography.
