16th ANPAT in the Fall - Yellowstone & Grand Teton

Discuss this workshop

Come with us to celebrate the 16th year of the Annual Nikonians Photography Adventure Trip (ANPAT) in the Fall, the traditional Nikonians event of the year, this time in the splendid Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Wyoming and Montana.

A full week of photography, shop talk and camaraderie, for photographers of all skill levels.

Join Nikonians founders Bo Stahlbrandt (bo) and J. Ramon Palacios (jrp), with ANPAT Leader Eric Bowles (ericbowles) in a dream place for landscape and wildlife photographers, where we all help and learn from each other, living the Nikonians motto: share, learn, inspire.

You can be sure we'll come back with great photos.

YELLOWSTONE. The park features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous Old Faithful and the majority of the world's geysers that are preserved there. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, elk, and antelope.

We have planned for great locations, like the Lamar and Hayden valleys, Mammoth Hot Springs, Geysers, just to name a few.

GRAND TETON. Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These have been described as the mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park and inspired Ansel Adams to make many of his iconic images.

Here we will shoot at Schwabacher's Landing, Mormon Row & Moulton Barn, Oxbow Bend of the Snake River, Snake River Overlook, and several other great locations on the lookout for bear, elk and moose.

The stunning beauty and serenity of these remarkable places is unique, something to enjoy and preserve forever.
