Our day will start with the first available light with a running herd of horses and colorful wranglers along a crystal clear lake providing opportunities for beautiful reflections. Next, participants will photograph the horse herd accompanied by western dressed wrangler running through beautiful meadows.
Photographers will then have the opportunity to film horseshoeing, roping and branding, and a cattle drive. The full day of western photography will end with cow hands silhouetted against the setting sun. After, join us for an old fashioned barbeque hosted by Triple “D”, the Crisps and the Cunningham’s with lively western entertainment.
This will be a long, full day of photography and will begin before sunrise on 4/6/2010. You have the option of camping at the 7L ranch in your tent, or you can stay at one of the many local hotels.
This workshop runs one day prior to another workshop we are running called the Triple D Game Farm - California Special. We'll be spending three days photographing wildlife models in the Sierra Foothills and one day photographing in Yosemite NP. The Triple D Game Farm - California Special runs 4/7/10 to 4/10/10.
