Master Nikon i-TTL Flash, CLS

Learn to use Nikon's innovative wireless flash system!

For anyone who owns a SB-600, SB-800, SB-900 flash and wants to understand how the i-TTL (intelligent Through The Lens) system works and what Nikon's Creative Lighting System (CLS) can do for you.

We'll have lots and lots of flashes, and will set up many different types of shots using the i-TTL system (speedlights, cameras, gels and filters).

You will learn flash techniques that will help you solve difficult lighting scenarios.

We'll cover methods on how to creatively light situations that arise in studio photography, outdoor portraits, product photography, closeup and flower photography, web and product photography, travel photography, fill-flash photography and night photography

What to bring
Required
- Nikon Digital SLR (D50, D40/D40x, D60, D80, D90, D70/D70s, D200/D300, D2H/D2Hs, D2X/D2Xs, D700, D3/D3x) or F6 Film Camera
- Your SB-600, SB-800 or SB-900 speedlight
- Note: if you don't own one you can still participate in the class. We'll have units you can use in the class
- Fully charged battery for your camera
- Extra "AA" batteries for flash(es)
- Digital media (memory card) and/or film
- Card reader and/or camera USB cable
- Camera Manual
- Flash Manual
- A strong desire to learn!
