Every nature and wildlife photographer wants to shoot Yellowstone in winter. Add the Grand Tetons and the National Elk Refuge and you have the most amazing winter photography workshop ever offered!
Each day will offer incredible opportunities for winter photography of wildlife and landscapes. Species may include, Moose, Wolves, Bison, Elk, Coyote, Red Fox, Pronghorn, Deer, Big Horn Sheep, and River Otters.
Our landscapes will include the Grand Tetons, Snake River, Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls, Geyser Basin, Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley and other spectacular icons of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Cost
$5900 double occupancy, single supplement $900. All inclusive.
$1,000 deposit is due at sign up. Deposit payments may be made by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. You can pay for the $1,000 deposit by clicking on the "Buy Now" button on this page to secure your place.
$4,900 to be paid as soon as possible. The latest date to pay the $4,900 remainder is 75 days prior to departure. If final payment is not received when due, we reserve the right to treat your reservation as canceled and will offer your seat to the next person on the waiting list. This $4,900 payment must be paid via bank transfer (wire transfer). Bank information will be forwarded to all those who have paid the initial deposit.
All trip fees are quoted in US dollars and must be paid in US dollars.

Maximum 8 participants makes for a more personal workshop.
This is an all inclusive workshop. It includes lodging, transportation, snow coaches, and meals. We will start and end in Jackson Wyoming.
Itinerary: (subject to adjustments)
If you fly, Jackson Hole Airport, JAC, is about 12 miles from Jackson, WY. Jackson Hole is the valley and Jackson is the town. We can arrange pick up if needed.
Day 1
Arrive in Jackson, Wy no meals
Orientation dinner that night. No Host.
Day 2
We will spend this day touring the Jackson area including a sleigh ride into the National Elk Refuge. This will be a highlight of this workshop and should provide excellent photo ops of elk and other wildlife. BLD
Day 3
On the road early to get the morning light on the snow covered Grand Tetons, photograph the Snake River and wildlife along the way to Flagg Ranch where we will board our snow coach for an adventurous ride to Old Faithfull. BLD
Day 4
Today we photograph Old Faithful and the surrounding area. Plenty to see and do. With luck bison will be laying about the geysers. BLD
Day 5
We board our private snow coach and head to the Geyser Basin for scenic and wildlife photography on our way to Mammoth Hot Springs. Overnight in Gardner MT. BLD
Day 6
We will tour the northern range in search of wolves, magnificent scenics, and other wildlife. We will overnight in Cooke City. BLD
Day 7
More adventures await in the Lamar Valley with the chance of winter wolves, bison, sheep, pronghorn and more winter scenics. Overnight in Gardner. BLD
Day 8
Today will be a long day of photography and travel via snow coach. We will keep a keen eye for those last chance images of wildlife and winter landscapes on our way back to Flagg Ranch where our vehicles await for our last leg to Jackson. BLD
Day 9
Depart Jackson. Cards filled with images. Brains filled with memories. Hearts filled with life.
What is not included
Airfare to Jackson and return. Meals on days of arrival and departure. Alcohol, and items of a personal nature.
